It won't be long before the leaves start changing colors and the weather gets cooler! You still have some time to get out and enjoy the weather before you need to winterize your boat, so here at Village Marina, we've put together some fun boating activities at the Lake of the Ozarks for you to enjoy! Whether you want to stop at a dock and enjoy some fun by land, or stay on the boat all day long - we've got some suggestions.

Fall Fun By Land
Are you looking for a place where you can dock the boat and get out and have some fun? There are plenty of places around the Lake of the Ozarks where you can pull up with your boat and get out for a good time. From hiking to other adventures - it's time to get your Lake of the Ozarks boat out on the water to enjoy some fun fall days. Here are a few places that we suggest taking your boat for a day on the land and water.Bridal Cave
This is a fun family friendly place to head when you want to do something fun on the Lake. Bridal Cave features a dock at, and cave tours that are enjoyed by thousands. There is also a fun gift shop to walk through, and a place for the kids to pan for gold!HaHa Tonka
Looking to get a little bit of nature while you stop for a bit? You could dock up at HaHa Tonka and have a picnic lunch before hiking around the old historic ruins or hiking through many of the beautiful wooded trails.Lake Ozark State Park
Lake Ozark State Park is one of the largest state parks in Missouri! With hundreds of hiking trails, public beaches, docks, and pavilions for picnics, you and your family can enjoy hiking, enjoying nature and appreciating the beautiful fall colors.Lakefront Restaurants
We would be remiss if we didn't tell you about the fun lake restaurants! Espeically because we have the BEST one in mind. The Boathouse feature incredible food, a fun lakeside pool, and a convenient dock and marine gas dock at the Lake of the Ozarks. Head out to mile marker 3 for the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks.Fall Fun By Water
Just riding around the Lake of the Ozarks is fun enough! But if you're looking for something a little more challenging, you could try the Aquatic Trail at the Lake of the Ozarks. This fun activity is administered by the Missouri department of Natural Resources as part of the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. It's a nine-mile, two-hour boating excursion and it runs from Public Beach #1 near the Laek's east end to Grand Glaize Beach. You can start from either end, and a booklet with a map and more detailed explanations are avialbe at the park office. Boating at the Lake of the Ozarks
While boating season may be coming to an end - it's not over YET! There's still time to get out on the water and enjoy some beautiful weather. If you don't have a boat yet, now is a great time to look for one. As we switch from 2017 to 2018, you may be able to find the PERFECT boat for you and your family.
